"Great Location with easy access to the beach and next door to Blue Rocks Cafe & Grill, the only restaurant in the village. Skip Storms River is a coach tourist trap. Stay at Nature's Valley. If you must visit Storms River Mouth, it is a short drive away."

"I stayed at AppleBee in November 2025. The communication beforehand was very smooth and Jeannine was always quick to reply and help out with any questions. All the staff was very kind and Tony makes sure your on site stay runs smoothly. The accommodation was equipped with everything we needed, which made the stay very comfortable and pleasant. Since it was a longer stay it was nice that we were able to cook in the cottage as well. The pool was also a very nice extra. The breakfast was very tasty, if you're not yet sure to book it I would definitely recommend it. If I'm returning to Makhanda I will definitely come back here."

"We were very pleasantly surprised by the standard of accommodation, it was fabulous. The safari drive was excellent, giving you an opportunity to get close to the animals. We had dinner and breakfast at the lodge and both were lovely. The staff were so friendly and helpful."
