"Amazing pool! Great staff always around to help if you need anything. You feel like you’re in the bush with a lovely view of Lion Rock from our treehouse balcony. Within walking distance to both rocks and some local restaurants just down the road. Breakfasts were good."

Possibly a bit overpriced for the very basic accomodation.

"It is a unique carribean cottage, which is a little gem. It is a five minute walk to a lovely beach. We cooked in as the kitchen had everything one required. We had our meal out on the verandah next to the kitchen and watched the sunset. Sabina is a wonderful hostess. When we arrived she tried to book as into a restaurant but it was full so she took us to the local supermarket to ensure we would have a good meal. Keith was also really helpful and a great guy. We wished we had booked it for longer."

Staff very helpful and food good value for hotel facilities. Ample breakfast included too. They offer excursions but we did not try due to lack of time. Modi Lodge is quite hidden and set in a remote area. It offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, which can be great if you’re looking to unwind, but it also means that getting around is difficult without your own transportation. Public transport and taxis are limited in that part of Curaçao, so without a car you won’t be able to easily reach beaches, restaurants, shops, or other attractions on the island.

"Everything was exceptional - the hospitality, the service, the setting, the food, the environment. The service was some of the best I have ever experienced. The safari guides were exceptionally knowledgeable - we learned a great deal and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of every game drive. The food was 10/10 - I am gluten free and they prepared a separate menu for me every meal time. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!"

"Beautiful place next to a river and the mangrove bushes. The lady at the service desk speaks very good English. That’s was very helpful. The excursion to the monkeys was very fun and the boat tour was beautiful!"

"Labai norėjome šios vietos viskas pasiteisino su kaupu. Vieta tiesiog išskirtinė! Turėjom 2 nakvynes, paėmėm pilną maitinimą( 2 pusryčiai ir 2 vakarienės) ir jautėmės kaip kurorte. Labai patiko karštos vonios kieme. Puikūs žygiai."

"Beautiful surroundings, so calm. The host is incredibly helpful and kind. This refuge is his personal project, and you can see his passion. The surrounding villages are small but lovely to walk through. There are nice hikes possible, including to the peak of Mount Agou, the people on the paths will kindly guide you to your destination. They are truly kind."

The location on the map is slightly off, ask for a pin before you arrive to make sure you find the right place!

"Great location. Super friendly staff who provided a warm welcome and farewell. Since there were only a few guests, they upgraded our rooms to exceptional ones. Excellent activities and dinner. Cozy fireplace at night. A fantastic experience. Definitely worth repeating and highly recommended."

Nuliūdino karšto vandens nebuvimas. Teko indus plauti šaltu vandeniu ir negalėjome nusiprausti duše, nes vanduo iš gręžinio ledinis.

We loved everything, it is rustic in a lovely way, fits with the environment you are in. Great value for the location.
