"We were on the top floor where the WiFi didn't reach so essentially didn't get to use the free WiFi. There is very little space to move around the bed (basically a ruler's length between the bed and wall) making it tricky to navigate getting to the toilet."

"Great room for 2/3 people, we had one double bed and one single bed in the room. We also had a private bathroom. Everything was clean. There is a club downstairs and it is a bit loud during the night but windows are very soundproof so we had very good sleep. Location is also great, pretty close to every major point in the city."

"Simple, spotlessly clean. All the basics which I needed. Located in a lovely area close to city centre. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was cleaned and tidied every day. Very close to a beautiful panoramic viewing point, close to a tram line and funicular if you want to avoid climbing steep steps en route."

"Not that clean, our room had tiny window looking to wall means zero day light and no air circulation. Toilet in our room was not clean enough."

"The owner kindly waited for us until just after 10 although normally you have to arrive at 9 pm to check in. Our flight was supposed yo land at 6.40 pm but it was an hour late and then we spent an hour and a half in an immense queue fir passport control as my partner is a Brit. We never tjoughtwe'd be late! But luckily I had asked in advance. There is coffe, tea sugar snd even milk, which made a difference in the mornings. Own toilet and sink with soap, shared shower. Also kitchen with fridge and sink, microwave and toaster, and other small space with table, chairs, ironing board at window opposite."

"There is a bar/ night club right below which are very loud ( with banging rhythms) from 9 or 10 pm until 3 am !! Terrible! I closed all the windows I could and still you could hear it! Maybe I am more sensitive than others, - not sure."

"Loved the location and the room was EXACTLY like the photos, I was delighted to be here and would definitely stay here again. the place was very clean and tidy and the manager very friendly and helpful. The perfect choice for people travelling on a budget and want to explore the city!"

"I travelled very light because I was only here for a few days... but if you have lots of luggage our bad knees then be warned about the steep steps in the hostal! Also the barrio Alto is a hilly walk up from the centre.... so I know that some people would struggle.... but if you have the money to spend on a tug tug then there are plenty around the city!"

"The staff was very good, welcoming, they let us leave the luggage there on the last day before catching the flight. The area is so noisy, filled with erasmus places and people, but the windows are new and locked out most of the noise. There was also a ventilator provided."
