"The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning was lovely in the summer heat. I appreciated the communal kitchen as it was spacious and very functional. Our room had a spiral staircase that had further rooms which was very cool. The location is incredibly central and within walking distance to most sights."

"I liked everything about my stay. The location is very central however I would suggest getting a room upstairs as when travelling with 2 women it was a little scary at times with our room being road level. The area is being developed so the surrounding construction sites did make us feel uneasy when walking home."

"It was a roomy suite, with plenty of room for the double bed, bench and bathroom on the entry level plus a two single bedroom space down a tight circular staircase. Then just outside a door from the lower bedroom was a spacious and moderaltely well equipped kitchen/dining area and sitting space. While up a hill from the main nearby metro stops, they are actually close and indeed most of the main sights are within walking distance. The host was welcoming and facilitated a very early check-in, allowing me to leave bags and get out in the town even though I arrived in the morning of my booking."

"Rafaela was very accommodating and friendly. The location is handy to public transport etc., and very good for getting around Lisbon. Our kids loved it (although lots of walking up hills, as with anywhere in Lisbon). Having a kitchen and access to a fridge, cooking facilities was very helpful. It was perfect for our budget. Good recommendations for local food etc, which was lovely too."
