"absolutely fantastic staff, pleasant helpful nothing was too much trouble and not over expensive. The hotel was open to the public so my son and his family could come and have a drink on the beautiful terrace. Great location , great staff, clean room good breakfast I have found a perfect hotel for my needs I’m looking forward to returning in December."

"The location -walking distance to the beach was great. Peaceful atmosphere, very chill. Very well equipped with everything you need. Magnificent views from the room. Friendly staff, although it was off-season so everything was a little slow."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"The proprietor was wonderful. The common outside areas were very beautiful. The common inside area was a museum—-super interesting. The restaurant was very, very good! Fantastic! The rooms are just OK—clean and comfortable but little charm. Would definitely stay here again. Happily accomodated our bicycles in a secure room. Overall—super, just super!"
