"The proprietor was wonderful. The common outside areas were very beautiful. The common inside area was a museum—-super interesting. The restaurant was very, very good! Fantastic! The rooms are just OK—clean and comfortable but little charm. Would definitely stay here again. Happily accomodated our bicycles in a secure room. Overall—super, just super!"

"Die Unterkunft ist zwar eher einfach, aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt definitiv geeignet, wenn man nicht zu viel Komfort braucht. Dafür ist sie sehr günstig. Das Personal war ebenfalls (trotz Sprachbarriere) sehr freundlich. Wir würden definitiv empfehlen, das Restaurant, das zur Unterkunft gehört zu besuchen."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
