"private beach with a nice view and crystal clear water. The hotel provided us with a baby bed upon request. It was nice to stay in the south end of Isla mujeres away from the over crowded and hectic playa Norte. It’s walking distance to the gerrafon beach club that has some nice snorkelling areas."

"the room was very dark and not very clean (stains on the walls). In the garden and on the terasse outside the room there are so many mosquitos that you can’t sit outside and chill or have the door to the room open. A mosquito net over the bed would have been nice. The restaurant is not part of the hotel, so the breakfast is in another restaurant down the road (expect slow service and waiters demanding tips every morning, as service charge is not part of the included breakfast. It might be custom on the island, where there’s a huge tipping culture. Didn’t experience this other places in Mexico). The restaurant at the hotel is super pricey and the staff seems grumpy with the fact that the hotel guests have access to the beach without buying anything in their posh bar. It seems like they don’t have many costumers (wonder why!), so the general vibe is just not chilled and the staff seems tense. It’s a bit sad that the place is run like this, and there’s not really a restaurant or bar at the hotel where you’d want to hang out in. There was no wifi in our room for five out of seven days. This place was unfortunately also the only place in Mexico where we saw the white dotted dengue mosquito (in the day time on the private beach and just outside our room). I’m sure you can find it in many other places, but we didn’t want to take any chances (was travelling with a baby), so we hardly used the private beach. This is of course not the hotels fault, but just a fact that really put a downer to our stay there. We might as well have stayed in a cheaper air bnb further in the island."

"Maria's Kan Kin was fabulous, the location on the beach is fabulous and the room we stayed in was decorated in a lovely way. Lily our host was absolutely fabulous, kind and helpful - she is a gem!"

"Beautifully decorated, cosy and overlooking the ocean. Beautiful beach and nice for swimming. Loads of fish can be seen in the morning. Lily was exceptionally friendly and nice and very attentive. She is very natural, real and makes you feel very welcomed."

"Perhaps the restaurant has some place for improvement. They close way too early and although the service is good it could be improved further. The restaurant needs to purchase a good coffee machine !"

"Es war nur ein kleiner Bereich Sandstrand. Sonst besteht der Strand aus einem Seegrasteppich. Der Preis der Unterkunft war sehr teuer."

"Ein kleines Paradies auf Isla Mujeres. Die Anlage ist in einem kleinen Garten eingebettet und arbeitet mit Lorettas Beach Club zusammen. So hat man als Gast das Privileg, den Pool, den kleinen, aber wunderschönen und sauberen Privatstand mit genügend Liegen, Kajaks, SUP kostenlos nutzen zu dürfen. Unser Zimmer war wunderschön, sauber, mit einem bequemen grossen Bett. Beachtücher werden zur Verfügung gestellt. Frühstück gibt es a la Carte im Beachclub. Das Essen da ist allgemein sehr lecker. Alle Mitarbeitenden sind super nett, zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und verstehen ihren Job. Mit Lili hat das Marias Kan Kin eine Perle. Lili ist unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit, warmherzig und erfüllt jeden Wunsch. Wir können das Marias Kin Kan ohne Vorbehalte weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder reservieren."

"We were made very welcome by the hotel proprietor. The location was quiet and close to the reef park with a lovely beach. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. A coffee machine was in the room. The breakfast was good with a reasonable amount of choice. The restaurant is operated by a different company and we had mixed experiences there."

"We were only supplied with two small bottles of drinking water a day (all other hotels we stayed in provided unlimited water in larger containers outside or in the room). The drinks with breakfast were also limited to two, either a small coffee or fruit juice. The fruit juice was a glass full of ice, topped up with juice. Although when I asked for "no ice" I got half a glass of orange juice. We ate one evening in the hotel restaurant, the service was very very slow and it was expensive. However we were offered a discount due to the busy restaurant and poor service."

"Amazing location for people looking for quiet stay away from the main tourist areas. Great breakfast with a lot of choice options. Very friendly stuff and super helpful management! Hotel close to few nice restaurants, pharmacy and walk distance to Punta Sur!"
