"Beautiful surroundings, so calm. The host is incredibly helpful and kind. This refuge is his personal project, and you can see his passion. The surrounding villages are small but lovely to walk through. There are nice hikes possible, including to the peak of Mount Agou, the people on the paths will kindly guide you to your destination. They are truly kind."

The location on the map is slightly off, ask for a pin before you arrive to make sure you find the right place!

"Absolutely beautiful peaceful serene location. We were there Oct and it was cold. It must be amazing in the summer. Some issues with check-in. I guess it was off-season, because there were no staff. We needed to call and there was a small delay getting things organised. The room is huge, aircon/heater works well. Kitchen has most things you need. Fridge, microwave, utensils, etc Ensuite bathroom is large and shower is hot. It suited us perfectly."

10am check out is a bit early. We would have liked to stay around another few hours.

"Labai gera vieta, nepaprastai gražiame Kakopertia kaime, pačiame senamiestyje, sename autentiškame name. Visi reikalingi patogumai yra. Nieko netrūko. Nuostabūs pusryčiai, maistas naminis, skanus, įvairus. Būtina paragauti carob sirupo."

Kambaryje tamsoka, bet taip turbūt daugiau autentikos. Tai padeda pajausti kaip gyveno žmonės anksčiau.

Het eten en drinken. Er was veel niet aanwezig van wat er op de kaart stond. Zowel van het eten als het drinken. Dat mag niet mogelijk zijn voor de prijs die je betaalt.

Would have been nice if pool had been heated - a bit cool in the late afternoon for a swim. Recognize this would differ seasonally.

The water flow in the shower was not good.

Nuliūdino karšto vandens nebuvimas. Teko indus plauti šaltu vandeniu ir negalėjome nusiprausti duše, nes vanduo iš gręžinio ledinis.

"Staff are friendly and helpful. It has a nice old world atmosphere and rooms are a good size. Importantly the split system air conditioning worked although struggled a bit during the hottest part of the day. February is the hottest month typically 31c with high humidity."

The position is good for island ferry services although most don’t run in the off season but it is a long 30 minute hot walk to the main shopping area. The owners of the hotel do have a shop next door which also has a liquor store. The included breakfast was fixed at either eggs some days or pancakes others. Perhaps there is more choice during the main tourist season.

"Very welcoming and happy staff. They were so kind and caring. The place was warm and the fire place in the common area was a nice touch (we visited in winter). Everything was explained so well. We loved the pool and onsen! Truly a spa resort! Thanks."

"This is a beautiful and well run place to stay. I was made welcome as soon as I arrived. Room was very nice and such good value for money. Peaceful place even with it being next to the lake where there was much singing and dancing and fireworks for the water festival (Bon Om Touk). Green and lush surroundings. I ordered my chicken fried rice when I arrived for 4 hours later. 4 hours later I was eating chicken fried rice."

"Labai norėjome šios vietos viskas pasiteisino su kaupu. Vieta tiesiog išskirtinė! Turėjom 2 nakvynes, paėmėm pilną maitinimą( 2 pusryčiai ir 2 vakarienės) ir jautėmės kaip kurorte. Labai patiko karštos vonios kieme. Puikūs žygiai."
