"A lovely quiet residential neighbourhood . Lots of birds in the garden . Lovely pool and outdoor seating area. We could walk out of our room to the pool and terrace. Marian looked after us very well ."

There is no wardrobe in the room and no hand tissue was provided. The price was very expensive for the room No shuttle to pick up from the airport

Great room and fabulous views of the bay. I loved waking up in the morning and watching the boats going up and down the bay.

The room was really spacious and clean and breakfast was a great selection. "I had a great stay at Tulip Hotel. Room 105 was cozy, clean, spacious, and bright. The bed was large and very comfortable, the room was very clean and nice , and everything felt well maintained. I also really liked the stylish and cozy bar area. The interior design is beautiful and thoughtfully done. You can clearly see the creative ideas behind the concept, all focused on making guests feel comfortable. The team work of the staff is impressive. Service is smooth and professional. The food is delicious, breakfasts and lunch were excellent. The spa area is another highlight, especially the hammam and the pool with refreshing ice cold water.Wonderful! Overall, a very comfortable and welcoming hotel that fully deserves a high rating. I would definitely stay here again."

The only downside is the soundproofing. You can hear what is happening in the hallway, especially when guests check in or out or use the shower nearby. The room 105 could benefit from better noise insulation.

"The room is spacious and it is clean mostly, that's important. The AC & appliances works well, includes the bathroom and water pressure. Two good beaches are in walking distance from this hotel, as well as some good eateries."

The shower place is bit smaller, the mirror is made of wooden frame which the paint is dropping off. Not enough sand catching carpet at the lift lobby or corridor.

Mattress is not comfortable.

"Our NGO had a conference in the hotel. the staff was excellent in preparing the conference room and addressing out needs. The conference catered food was excellent. I stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks and had breakfast every day. After the first 2 days, I realized that one could order eggs or omelet. Which was fine but why didn't they tell me at the beginning? Fruit selection was good. Coffee was also good. the wam milk for coffee was frequently empty but refilled on request."

The AC and the Fridge in our room were not working but immediately we reported, they were fixed.

Lovely property but needs a little refurbishing. More for the Island’s government to consider: The Island could have better (and cleaner) walking paths between all the resorts, beaches and the Village.

No cell service in Philipsburg ... wifi in apartment but that didn't help with navigation - but figured navigating out fast enough.

The area is absolutely manic, the actual car park entrance was difficult to find, bar very limited, staff on bar seemed disinterested until we paid the bill and gave a tip which cheered her up.

"Island Hopper was recommended by a friend and didn't disappoint. The staff made us feel at 'home' right from the airport pick up. The beds are more comfortable than ours at home. The restaurant is also excellent! Hope to be back one day."

The lack of the cleanliness of the pool (because of breakfast nearby, lots of things fly away in it). Drinkable water in the bar was not free (4-star hotel)

"The hotel itself is modern, and the rooms are impressively large and kept spotless with daily cleaning. A huge shoutout to the staff—they were genuinely helpful and made the stay much better. Breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety of fresh options to choose from."

There are a few areas that need immediate attention. First, the hot water in the shower never quite reached a comfortable temperature. Second, the Spa hours are misleading; it’s advertised until 8 PM but closed at 6 PM during my stay. Location : it’s in the old part of the city, which is charming by day, but the surrounding streets are quite dark at night.

Prices are very high, but the normal for French Guyana. Kourou is not a city for pedestrians. So, there is no good location - everything is far for a walk. By car, it is really close to the space center.

The staff is very friendly and also gives tips for sightseeing tours. Breakfast is also available around noon. The quality-price relation is very good for this hotel. We would book this hotel immediately again."
