"Great breakfast. Very friendly hosts, helped us with organizing taxi to the hiking starting points. Great views from the rooftop terrace (in March it was a bit cold, so make sure to bring a jacket)."

"Very clean location in the centre of Nova Sintra. As far I saw, they have 2 triple rooms on the first floor that are sharing a living and a very nice terrace. Breakfast is continental but based on sweets, having a bit of cheese. The personnel are there only in the morning and at check-in but they are usually answering to phone in a reasonable time. Only one person speaks English. Overall, it was a good choice for hiking around the island."

"There was a noise from water pomp that became very annoying during the night when somebody was using the bathroom. As well, the soundproof between those rooms is not great at all. Breakfast should be improved and diversified for people staying more days. Personal no able to provide informations about the hiking possibilities, the only reason tho visit that beautiful island. A lamp proper light for reading should be available."

"This is a family-run business, and they are very warm, and thoughtful. They make an effort to speak and connect with you. Aisha and Elsa are the main hosts, and went the extra mile to help me find my way around the town, recommending great places to eat and visit. They arranged transportation to pick me up from the ferry, which was great because it saved me the hassle and worry, and a tour of the island. The accommodation is spacious, clean and comfortable. It's close to the centre of town which is less than a 5-minute walk. The bathroom is modern and the rooftop terrace is relaxing with gorgeous views. I enjoyed my stay and would go back!"

"Fine store værelser med et stort fælles opholdsrum. Tidligere kolonial herskabsvilla med gæsteværelser i baghuset. Familien og personalet var meget imødekommende og service minded."

"Da localização e da casa em si. Os quartos têm uma sala em comum onde servem o pequeno almoço, bastante bom. A Vila de Sintra é muito bonita e o povo acolhedor. Destaco a simpatia da Elsa, que nos recebeu e veio despedir-se de nós à saída. Trouxemos a Janaína, colaboradora da casa, nos nossos corações. Genuína e amorosa não a iremos esquecer."

"Jolie chambre spacieuse , calme, agrémentée d'un coin salon convivial pour se détendre avec un canapé et table pour la petit-déjeuner. Accueil sympathique et petit déjeuner bien garni. La maison de style colonial est très jolie donnant dans la rue principale, les chambres sont côté jardin."
