"We arrived in Mindelo for the end of Carnival. The apartment is close to the port, the center of Mindelo, and the streets where the Carnival parade takes place. The apartment is comfortable, well-equipped, and even comes with beach towels. Everything is perfect. And the host, Ivan, is an exceptional person. Before our arrival, he always responded quickly to emails, then picked us up from the ferry, and then gave us excellent advice (which café to go to watch the sunset on the terrace, what dessert to try there (couscous)). He is so friendly and easy to talk to (he speaks perfect English) and is great at sharing the joy of Carnival. Even after returning home (to Poland), we received several videos from him of the end of Carnival, which was incredibly kind of him. Ivan, the host of the apartment, is the friendliest person we met in Cape Verde."

Shop around the corner, restaurants and ice cream place nearby. Apartment may be unassuming from outside, but inside absolutely stunning. Everything you could wish for and more inside. Clean and interior design to a high standard. Comfortable, and so thoughtful in everything thats available. From kitchen equipment to beach towels. Little outdoor area a bonus. Ideas and what's available locally and host so helpful and informative, nothing is too much trouble."

"This apartment is brand new with all the facilities you need ,even beach towels were provided . Very good location for centre and the beach. Our flight got cancelled and also delayed on the day which was no problems as Ivan was so accommodating. Ivan is a great host and always answer any questions very fast. Highly recommend this place."

"Appartement spacieux, très propre, super équipé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. On s'y sent comme chez soi... Comme nous l'avions demandé, notre appartement était situé au rez-de-chaussée, et bien qu'en plein centre, il y faisait très calme. Le propriétaire et son cousin sont charmants. Ils conseillent de bonnes adresses pour les repas, couchers de soleil et musique live. La plupart sont accessibles en quelques minutes à pied. Ils sont très accommodants pour les horaires de départ et arrivée. Merci à eux. Le CNAD (centre national d'artisanat et de design) est juste à côté. Sa cafétaria propose de bons petits déjeuners ainsi que des sandwichs bienvenus pour la pause à midi."

"Très beau logement a deux pas du centre de Mindelo, dans une rue calme. L’appartement est très fonctionnel, avec une terrasse/balcon. Ivan et son neveu sont très accueillant, ils nous indiqué plusieurs très bonnes adresses dans la ville et ont été très arrangeant pour notre arrivée et notre depart. Je recommande vivement !!"
