"The dorm ans common areas were clean and situated in a little side street but very much in the center. The area is nice, relatively quiet and felt safe. The beds were walled in on three sides to make them into little pods which felt cozy. Wifi was good, which I really appreciated. There's a kitchen table and a small lounge area in the foyer."

First of all, they advertise card payments on booking. Com but refuse to actually let you pay by card - it's cash only, which left me scrambling to find an ATM after just arriving in Guatemala, which I specifically wanted to avoid by booking a hostel which took card payments. Many parts of the property could use some love, e.g. there's peeling paint in many places, broken faucets covered in tape etc. My dorm room was very small with no space for luggage - anything bigger that hand luggage did not fit under the beds and the room was so small that some travellers slept with their suitcase in their beds... There were also no lockers, which really bothered me as we all had to leave passports, laptops etc. laying on our beds with dorm rooms that don't lock and the front door always wide open. All in all not great but not horrible. There's better options in Antigua at the same price point.

"Mi experiencia en este hotel fue maravillosa. Está ubicado justo frente a la playa, lo que me permitió disfrutar de amaneceres y atardeceres espectaculares sin tener que moverme demasiado. La zona es muy tranquila, perfecta para descansar y desconectar. La habitación me sorprendió gratamente: además de ser muy bonita y luminosa, resultó muy cómoda y estaba equipada con una cocina que tenía todo lo necesario para preparar mis comidas. La piscina es amplia y agradable, ideal para relajarme después de pasar el día en la playa. Sin duda, lo que más destaco son las vistas increíbles que hicieron mi estancia aún más especial. Recomiendo totalmente este lugar y volvería sin pensarlo."

"Didn’t know Pablo was our host. Alonso was our contact. He greeted us at arrival and promptly responded to our questions. The apartment was spacious and clean. Appreciated the water purification system."

The kitchen is pretty well equipped, but could use new frying pans.

"Very nice park surrounding the hotel, spacious and well furinshed rooms, and very nice the relax area. The staff were friendly both at the restaurant and at reception."

"After trudging up the hill with your luggage this hotel provides a clean comfortable place to rest your weary self. (of course you could take a tuktuk!) Rooms are well appointed and very clean. The bathroom is small but clean and perfectly adequate for its intention. There is a lovely seating area on the top floor with a kitchen. You can relax on couches or sit at the tables and write postcards. :) The staff are very friendly and accommodating."

Upon entering the hotel you immediately encounter a set of stairs, so no actual lobby. The third floor roof top sitting area makes up for it. I was awaken in the middle of the night by the smell of burning plastic. But this had nothing to do with the hotel.

- It is a 15 min walk from the center. During daytime it’s fine however after sunset you need a flash light or a tuktuk. It’s very dark. - Lot of stray dogs in the area - A bit expensive stay
