"Location is great, easy to get to the markets but also right by the road so easy to find too. Staff were great super helpful especially Hassan at reception! Rooms clean and beds were comfortable. Really great price."

"The aircon didn’t seem to work in our room - not a problem for the time of year but would be an issue in the summer. Water pressure was also pretty low."

"We had a great stay at this riad. The location is excellent—very close to the markets and convenient for tour pickups, which made getting around really easy. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, making it a relaxing place to come back to after a long day. Overall, a very pleasant experience and good value for the stay."

"The room felt a bit compact, which might be something to consider if you prefer more space. Also, basic bathroom toiletries were not provided, so it’s worth bringing your own. Overall, a decent stay, but a few small improvements could enhance the experience."

"The riad is lovely and located in the northern part of the Medina, which feels much more authentic and less touristy than other areas. It’s about a 30-minute walk from the city’s main hub. The breakfast was good, and the staff were incredibly kind—both the young men working there and the owner, who prepares breakfast in the morning and is truly helpful."

"While the room was nice, it had a few drawbacks. The bathroom is open-plan within the room, meaning both the toilet and shower are visible to anyone else in the space, which isn't ideal for privacy. It was also quite noisy; the chickens, then since we stayed during Ramadan, the call to prayer at 4 AM sounded like it was right inside the room, and you could hear motorbikes passing by constantly. If you are a light sleeper, this might be a challenge, though it could just be this specific room (which was located at the top, right by the terrace)."

"I like to be amongst the drama and culture of a City so the location of the property more than delivered on this for me. Simo the owner , is such a lovely guy and great host he really couldn’t do enough for me. Sadly due to excessive rain storms Simo had to move me which I was very appreciative of. The property is very old and you are staying in a true Moroccan Riad, rustic and in amongst it all just a stones throw from the souks. In summary, great host and comfortable property, it will continue to evolve over time so just be prepared for a rustic style stay."

"So the location is literally close to the Souks. But if you return to the property after 10pm the gates to the souks are locked but google maps continues to try and navigate you back to the property via the maze that is the souks, which simply doesn’t work. I never went the same way twice. It’s perfectly safe and there are always some locals looking to make a quick buck to show you the way which to be fair I would have been lost without them - c est la vie. Done aware that on one evening a local was asking more money than others has asked, he became insistent and there was almost an altercation which thankfully never escalated."
