"The villa is huge! We loved the location because it was very serene and tranquil. No pretentious resort and loud music! We managed perfectly without the car. We walked a lot and met few local people in the village. People around are very friendly and chilled. The views are beautiful, beds comfortable, pool is a nice size. It was far too big for the two of us but we enjoyed the space thoroughly. We even walked to the Mount gay distillery… fairly long walk but again nice to see the area around. Two old men in the car stopped and asked if we wanted a lift, we thought that was very sweet. We walked few times to Speightstown for food and shopping. I wouldn’t bother with the restaurant Local and Co… very small portions and nothing special. Feels pretentious."

"The private chef for us felt a bit too much. It’s nice to be cooked for but the idea of a villa to me is that we are alone and not that we have chef and cleaning lady there during the day. Plus the chef talks too much :) Some days we just cancelled the chef and made our own eggs for breakfast and went to eat in the local restaurant the fish pot which was pricey but very good and walkable. The best mahi mahi fish tacos I have ever had! I think the private chef is probably more viable when you have a larger party."

"It was a nice house 5 minutes walking from the beach. The team was very supportive solving any issues very quickly. Having Ramón also helped a lot with the shopping and the cooking for a big group as it was out case, and everything was very tasty. The rooms were very clean, and it was useful to have the laundry for one week stay."

"The only room for improvement was agreeing the breakfast or dinner times with the chef, which was sometimes not clear to coordinate."

"Fantastic seaside location, situated on a cliff above the bay, with just a short walk (2 min) to access nearby beach. Outside dining and lounging spots and well maintained pool and garden."

"Unfortunately the main living area is partially open which meant there were quite some mosquitoes at dusk. The owners could easily close this area which would make for a more enjoyable stay."

"Super clean, the host was lovely, you feel very safe and the view of the sunset each night is amazing!"

"It is a little bit far away from all the action but if you have a car, the west coast is very easily accessible. 😊"

"Sharon and her husband went above and beyond ! Very helpful, met me at the main bus station , gifted me home grown veg, took me back to main bus station and gave me small local currency as I had forgotten to go to local shop . Extremely friendly , the cabin style apartment is super comfy, lovely decor,( great value for money in comparison to a room for the same price in another location on the island ).The only fault I can mention is the neighbours dogs are occasionally vocal ,( Sharon’s two are Angels ). I didn’t have a car but the bus stops are easy walk and easy to use :)"
