"This accommodation is absolutely wonderful! The house is beautiful and very clean. Even though there is no air conditioning, it stays surprisingly cool. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are also dogs, cats, and chickens on the property, which we really enjoyed. They are super sweet. The property manager, Jésus, is such a kind person. He is always available and happy to help if you need anything. I would definitely recommend this place."

The only downside is that it can get quite noisy. Every morning around six, the school bus drives through the main street honking loudly. There are also a lot of trucks passing by, which can be pretty noisy. On top of that, the rooster loves standing right next to the bedroom window to wake you up. Since there is a school next door, you will also hear music and kids early in the morning.

"Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

Prisipažinsiu,ta vieta gamina pačius skaniausius ir didžiausius pagal kiekį vaisių smoothie už juokingą kainą. Motorolerių nuoma vietoje su pačia geriausia darbuotoja,kuri padėjo ne tik nuomos klausimais bet ir apgyvendinimo. Kilus klausimams galite kreiptis i ją. Nes savininkas būna užsiėmęs savo verslo ir nuosavybės priežiūra,todėl ne visada jį sutiksite. Bet kiek teko trumpai pabendrauti,jis labai paprastas ir nuoširdus žmogus.Ir aišku žaidžiančios ir lakstančios bezdžionės tikrai neleis nuobodžiauti,tik žiūreti ir grožėtis šiais gyvūnais ir pačia gamta🙂 Savo 6 dienų nakvyne esu patenkintas ir rekomenduoju visiems."

Kaip įprasta Tailande,nepatogus dušas su tualetu. Bet priprantama ir nėra ko skūstis.

"The view was really good with the little terrace in front of the room, I like to have a view. AC was powerful. It was also very very quiet. No noise except the roosters."

Others need to be mindful it's down a steep hill from the main street then up a steep unlit track - bring a flashlight not just phone light. Tricycles pick up at the bottom of the hill.

"Gmundnerberghaus is a hidden gem. The cottage is incredibly tidy, cozy, and well-maintained. The views of the green hills surrounding the property are absolutely stunning and provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation. A major plus: the actual location and atmosphere are even better than the pictures suggest! The photos on the website are modest compared to the wonderful reality. Highly recommended for a peaceful and beautiful escape."

"It’s super secluded! Very quiet. Had facilities from the 90s for kids and family to roam, cycle or just simply walk by the river. The family running the place are very welcoming. Great for fam with young kids"

The property is generally old, not that it’s not well kept but I think it’s kept as best as they can.

"This is a place where everything works -- gas, electric, water. Enough pots and pans for everyone. We enjoyed the stay. The place was clean, sheets were clean, towels and soap present, and there was working cleaning tools to keep the place clean. The host had thought of everything. The WiFi was superb. And the park outside is well-maintained and enjoyable."

A work desk was missed. Indoor parking not available, but the are is quite safe and secure.

"I absolutely loved the place! I came together with my friend with intention to relax and chill. The place was super cozy, relaxing and in a lovely calm area. When we came in november, there were still some wedding decoration left on the staircase (from the owners sons wedding the month before), and as a future bride myself I felt enchanted!
