On Weekends it gets quite loud at the pool area as it is open to foreigners and restaurant guets in general.

"I really enjoyed staying at Camping La Y Griega, in Bocas del Toro. For me, the location is perfect because it is a bit further away from town (which can be very noisy), making the atmosphere much calmer and more peaceful. In addition, the two buses that go to the main destinations on the island stop right in front: to Playa Bluff or towards Bahía Dragón and Playa Estrella. Taxis to town cost 1 dollar. There are affordable options for both rooms and tents. The tents are set up on wooden platforms in a very cozy space with hammocks and sofas. The place is well maintained, with a beautiful garden and a fully equipped kitchen. Howler monkeys pass by very often, and you can also see hummingbirds, which makes the atmosphere even more special. The owner, Johny, is very attentive and friendly, and the volunteers are also very kind and helpful. If I return to Bocas del Toro, I will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend it."

"The road to Carbunari is not the best one, but can be approached with any type of car. The accommodation is setup in a very nice setting, the wooden cabins are close to the forest and the whole place is at the end of the road. No neighbours, no noise, only nature! The owners are awesome people, and they are doing their best to make their guests feel like home. We rarely say this, but we’d be very happy to see them again!"

The road from Oravita is pretty bad, but the one from Bozovici is decent, even tho unpaved.

"Amazing position, right on the beach, immersed in nature. Managed by a gentle and polite family. Good wifi outside of the caravan. Recommended if you are looking for a caravan experience right on the beach and if you are willing to adapt."

The price we payed, due to the Booking.com platform fees, was overall too high with respect to the quality of the accommodation. There were many ants in our caravan (also in the bed). The floor was all covered with moquette (toilet included), which is not very hygienic, especially because the environment tends to get humid. Some windows were broken. Overall, I would suggest a better maintenance.

First of all please do not rely on the reviews here. The most one I think are fake reviews. This is now the real situation at this so called Nature "hotel". Flies flies flies. Everywhere thousand of flies. Flies in the rooms, flies in the restaurant everywhere you will have the flies. This is an indicator about the bad hygiene in this hotel. I have booked to so called King Room with Mountain view. It sounds very friendly but the reality is totally a horror. The room is very dirty and most issue it is wet and everywhere you see mold. When you enter the room you smell the moldy air. Absolutely unhealthy enviroment. Even the bedding is moldy and wet. The floor is wet. The walls are wet. We have to use hair dryer to have a little bit dry feeling when we sleep. But we could not sleep very well. Very terrible situation. Beside the moldy enviroment the room cleanless is terrible. Everywhere died flies and their feces. Stains on bedding and hairs. The bathroom was so dirty that we have avoided to take a shower. The toilet was not cleaned. The breakfast was consist of only rice and noodle and some unfresh cakes. On the food there are a lot of flies. They have a menu but most ones are not available. So we ate some noodle but was very low quality. Now my frustration. I have paid 1.4mRP for one night. In Indonesia you can stay in a very good 4 star Hotel for this price. I have requested a refund but the owner/staff was very unfriendly and not collaborative. For 200kRP you can stay in Bromo/Tosari in every homestay which is more better than this kind. So dont rely on the pics and reviews. The guys are cheating in a high level. Please be really careful to book this hotel. I have already claimed to booking.com. The location is removed from the main part of town. A short taxi ride will get you into the city.

"Es war genau die kleine Auszeit, die ich gebraucht habe. Der Wagen war gemütlich, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet – man hat sofort gemerkt, dass hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird. Besonders schön war die ruhige Atmosphäre auf dem Platz. Ich habe die Stille und das Meeresrauschen sehr genossen, konnte endlich einmal richtig ausschlafen und bei langen Spaziergängen über die Insel abschalten. Abends auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, zu grillen und den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten, war jedes Mal ein Highlight. Vielen Dank auch für deine freundliche Art und die unkomplizierte Kommunikation – das hat den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Ich komme sehr gern wieder und empfehle den „Lieblingsplatz“ mit bestem Gewissen weiter."

Das einzige kleine Manko war die etwas dünne Matratze im Bauwagrn.

"I just loved the concept of tipi in the forest. Very clean camping area, big forest surrounding the campground, lots of birds and of course the lovely semois by my feet. It’s also a family camping so as a solo traveler you feel pretty safe."

The “insolite” part, you aren’t quite insolite, other tipis were in use by families with children running around and shouting. This was a bit tiring since I hoped to be in a calmer area. But you manage, I was out hiking the whole day and at night I set up my bbq while the kids slept. Only early mornings were hard - at the same time the birds were as loud as the kids 😂

The train every half an hour on 2 meters from our windows. The fence is not so high (safety?!). Also the busy road between the camping and the beach is dangerous. Lots of kids crossing that road. A tunnel would be solution.

At this price you need to expect a basic accommodation, which it is. Do yourself a favour and rent a scooter right from the beginning of your stay. The scooters rental is not really close to the resort so best you go there with the bus and then drive up to the accommodation with the scooter.

"Malý rodinný kemp. Majitel příjemný, ochotný. Večer posezení u pivka, kdo chtěl, tak i s večeří. Bazén k dispozici večer i ráno. Naprostý klid a uvolnění. Spali jsme ve svém autě. K snídani vejce, uzeniny, sýr, rajče.. vše domácí a naprosto úžasná švestková marmeláda."
