"This is a comfortable family run hotel with historical links to the area. Their aim is to attract tourists to a little known area of Kosovo with a huge untapped potential. The hotel provided a friendly welcoming atmosphere and warm comfortable accommodation with a perfectly fine restaurant in this mountainous region. Local tradition and character are all around so open your mind and take it all in."

"I don’t understand why Hotel Meka has such low ratings, because our experience was great! Each of us had our own room, and although the lights didn’t work in two of them, the staff immediately gave us two even bigger rooms for the same price. We planned to stay just one night but decided to stay for two, and they even gave us a 20% discount for the second night. The staff took great care of us, explained everything clearly, and the restaurant was excellent – delicious food and great service. It’s only about a 20-minute drive to the starting point for the Rudoka hike. I can definitely recommend this place to everyone! 😊"

"Spacious rooms with a king size bed and a strong hot shower (after letting the water run for 5 minutes because there were just a few guests in the hotel). The room has a large terrace. Breakfast on the restaurant’s terrace. Laundry service for 5€. Well stocked supermarket next door."
"No breakfast service the second day of our stay because it was a national holiday…. Fortunately the nice (16y old) receptioniste made us a platter with some meat, olives and bread. No coffee or egg possible that morning though. With small holes in the bed sheets and stains on the towels I wouldn’t call it a 5 star hotel…. There are some reserved parking spaces in front of the hotel but the whole town parks and even double parks so you have to be lucky to have a parking spot and to be able to leave when you want. The hotel should be more strict and put a system with a lock in place."

"One of the staff members seemed unprofessional. We had booked 4 rooms as a group and everything should have been fine as per our online reservations. However, a staff member gave us a room without asking us, and we were charged €10 extra. She thought it was okay to give us a double bed, but for us it didn’t matter. This experience was disappointing and does not reflect the otherwise good image of this hotel"

"Best host ever. He sent recommendations for Pristina on the first day and helped with any problems. The location is perfect, the apartment has two balconies so non-smokers are not disturbed. Check-in and check-out were very quick and easy. You could retreat to your room and have some peace and quiet or hang out with the other guest in the living room. For the price, you can't complain at all. When I'm back in Pristina, I'll stay here again."

"I had a really lovely stay in that cute pink-themed room! The bed was super comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The TV was great with lots of channels, and the room felt cozy and welcoming overall. What stood out most was the thoughtful host — they were so nice and even brought me snacks and drinks to make me feel right at home. It was such a warm touch! I definitely plan to come back next time in that area . Highly recommend!"
