A historic building dating from the 16th century, the Hotel Arcade can be found on a small square in the centre of Banská Bystrica. A few meters from the original historical building of the hotel is the modern building of the new part of the hotel. The hotel is equipped with an elevator and air conditioning. We offer our guests accommodation in modern elegant rooms, some with a balcony. Parking is provided in the underground garage. We continue to offer rooms with a view of the square in the historical building of the hotel. All rooms have a satellite TV, a minibar and a private bathroom. Free wired internet access is available in all of them. The SNP Square with the clock tower, many other historic buildings, restaurants and pubs is just a 2-minute walk away.

"Labai gera viešbučio lokacija. Kambarys buvo labai erdvus ir patogus. Kambarys buvo tvarkomas kasdien ir švara buvo nepriekaištinga. Nors kambaryje nebuvo kondicionieriaus, karštą dieną labai pravertė pastatomas ventiliatorius."
"Sunkiai randamas įėjimas į patį viešbutį. Pusryčiai galėtų būti įvairesni. Viešbutyje nėra lifto, tačiau prieš atvykstant žinojome ir tai nesudarė mums nepatogumų."

"We started with a room with clogged shower that we only discovered in the evening. we were immidiately offered a new room close by, on the same floor. Hotel is in the centre (main square), accessible via an Arcade, but very quiet and with easy access from the back. Ample parking space in a parking garage. The breakfast was excellent with possibility to order really good coffee from the bar (extra costs)."

"The curtains in the room doesn’t really block me light In the evening the Aircon only warm, causing unbearable temperature. We were forced to leave the window opened ( 6 Celsius degrees) to get a reasonable temperature in the room"
"The hotel is in perfect location if you prefer going around the city walking. It's a single minute away from the main square but still silent and peaceful. The room was modern, spacious and comfortable, met all our expectations. The breakfast had great variety of options for all members of the family. The whole city is amazing and perfect for few days of visit."

"A nice boutique-style hotel, situated in a historic building, facing the central square of Banská Bystrica, in the very close vicinity of a few hundred metres of practically all tourist attractions, museums and monuments, such as Central Slovakian Gallery and the Dominik Skutecký Villa with garden, and three main jazz bars. The tourist sightseeing train is a few metres away. A large room, with confortable bed and pillows, welcome water is appreciated. Breakfast is in general superb. The elevator to the room floor and garage floor world fine. A well-secured underground car garage at the price of EUR 10 per vehicle/night."
"There is a sort of labyrinth to get out of vehicle garage to the receptionvia elevator, as it is somehow awkwardly marked. Likewise, the pedestrian entrance to the hotel from the main street is not properly marked with a signpost at the street. TV remote did not work. We noticed chipped enamel and dissolved paint in the coffee/tea kettle, which is extremely hazardous."
