"We stayed for 2 nights. The room is very nice and the bed is spacious. The apartment felt very private but I think we were the only people staying at the time. The pool area is lovely, although the apartment block is on a road with some minor traffic noise. We chose it for parking, as there is space to park outside. The check-in is a 4-5 minute walk away from the apartments. So, ensure to be dropped at check in area rather than the apartments. Unfortunately small issue with room key card not working. It was fixed but had to go back and forth to the reception. However, the staff made quick efforts to solve and someone was out fixing it the next day. So, all handled well. No pool towels in the room, small details that could be improved as reception advised there would be. 5€ uber into central Lagos or a 15 minute walk which would be uphill on way back. We were happy with this due to wanting to park a car easily. Overall, I definitely recommend."

"Complicated arrival : the two hostesses were very invested in the check-in just before us (4 persons asking lots of questions about local attractions and not déciding what to do), so they didn’t notice me before 15 to 20 min… after that everything was ok."

"Vila Rosa is a beautiful hotel in an incredible location! It is walking distance from the main centre. It is a quick taxi away from all the best beaches. It is located near amazing restaurants. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Our hotel/villa room came with a full kitchen and comfortable and clean beds. We were able to use the beach towels provided on the beach. I did not personally eat the breakfast provided for $16 but I took a browse and there was a nice selection. Also, the pool on both locations was gorgeous!!! The staff was very kind and attentive. The hotel is location about 1 hour away from the airport. I recommend booking a transfer prior. We also used Blue Feet 4hour tour to see the Algarves up close and personal, 10/10 recommend. Overall, I would return to this hotel in future and recommend it to friends or family. Thank you Vila Rods for the amazing stay!"
