Blair Athol Accommodation

"Quiet and peaceful, friendly host on brief acquaintance, good facilities. Very handy to Rosebank, walking track. We enjoyed sitting outside on the comfy chairs under the awning and it was warm enough to eat outside."

"Hot water took a long time to appear but was good once it arrived."

"The location was good and there was a good pick up service to the local tavern where we met the Mayor of Balclutha :D"

"I'd have loved a longer sleep in."

"Everything’s was perfect everything need was there"

"Heat pump was pretty average didn’t really warm up the place"

"Warm, cosy & perfect for my needs. Quiet location and close to town."

"our unit was really lovely and comfortable, nice cosy warm bed."

"nothing, it was all good"

"There was no breakfast. The location would have been good if I had a car, but walking from the bus was not so easy. I was very impressed that the lady from Four Square gave me a ride to the property. ."

"I was disappointed not to meet my hosts. I was there 2 nights and never saw them. They left everything ready for me but then must have gone away. I felt quite lonely and vulnerable because I could not make the door lock from the outside when I went out. I would have liked help about where to catch the bus and thought my hosts would have known things like that. It was the most disappointing stay of my ten day South Island holiday"

"Excellent spot to stop on the way thru, quiet, comfy and clean. Park right out the front, separate unit from home."

"We prefer a mirror in the main room for wife to do her hair, makeup while I am using the bathroom, but that's just our thoughts, very happy with accomodation."

"The location is just a couple of minutes from the main highway, so it is very convenient for road trippers. The room is comfortable, and the hostess is super friendly. It is a separate building to the main house, so you have plenty of privacy. It is at the end of a shared drive, so there is no through traffic. It was quiet and comfortable."

"Signage could have been better. There are two properties up the drive and initially we weren't sure which was our accommodation."

"Very clean, modern and comfortable little unit. Pleasant welcome, close to town but quiet. Heat pump and flat screen tv in a nicely fitted out unit. Hot shower with great water pressure. Bonus to be able to park my motorcycle under the cover in front of the unit."

"Nothing not to like."

"Really nice room which was warm & comfortable 🤗"
