South Olives

"Emanuel and his wife are the loveliest people! They welcomed us warmly, and explained us everything in detail. We could also call them whenever we needed or had questions. During the two weeks of our stay everything went perfectly, the accomodation was immaculate and had everything we needed. At first I was afraid that it would be a bit cold, but the AC upstairs, and the additional gas heating downstairs made the apartment nice and warm. The location is really good if you drive around by car, very easy to find parking space, and everything is really just a 30-40 min. drive from Zejtun. I hope we will return again, I would definitely choose South Olives next time as well."

"Amazing location allowing a nice and fresh walk to a fish market and all other villages around. The view from the balcony on the sunrise above the horizon melted my heart. Emanuel helped us a lot to experience best of Malta with his suggestions and recommendations of places to visit. Highly recommend!"

"I liked absolutely everything. The house really exceeded my expectations, we were very comfortable. Lots of space, well equipped kitchen. I liked the location, as it turned out that we traveled a lot around the house. Not far from the airport, by the way, but not close at all. The host is Emanuel, excellent, very friendly, always ready to help. In a word, I recommend it to everyone."

"The house was as in the description. The bedrooms are comfortable, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need and the bathrooms were very clean. The location of the property is a little further from the tourist areas but it is very easy to reach with local transport buses. Right in front of the house there are stops for buses 119 and 135. For those who do not want to rent a car or who are not used to driving on the left side, public transport is a very good solution. There are 2 grocery stores within a 5-7 minute walk or a bus stop. The owner, Emanuel, is a wonderful person. On arrival, he waited for us until midnight because the flight was delayed for several hours. During the stay he gave us useful tips on what to visit. He even helped us with some basic shopping on the evening of arrival."

"The frequency with which the buses run. Although not a major inconvenience, it would have been ideal if the time between buses was shorter. The public transport company's Tallinja app confused us more than it helped us. We did better with Google Maps. A rooster in a neighboring garden, who woke me up every day at 5 in the morning with his crowing. The other friends were not disturbed."

"Absolutely exceptional accommodation. Comfortable house with complete equipment. All clean and undamaged. Some luxury hotels will not provide you with such facilities. Everything above standard. The host was a friendly married couple who were happy to advise and give tips on trips, while not wanting to disturb privacy. Excellent location, great accessibility everywhere on the island."

"We kinda wanted some privacy but host lives like next door, behind our walls. It's not like it's a big issue just be aware of that. Other tan that we didn't have any problems with host since he was actually quite awesome dude."

"This is a large property, well furnished and well equipped. The location is on the outskirts of a small town on a fairly busy road, but the property is well soundproofed and no traffic noise was discernable. Two bus routes run along the road, each with one bus per hour in each direction (but Malta bus timetables are famously unreliable!). There is a decent grocery store nearby and others not far away. Marsaxlokk and Marscascala are within easy reach, by bus, car, or even on foot if you don't mind half an hour's walk. The host, Emanuel, lives in the adjoining property and was very friendly and welcoming. Always available, but not intrusive. Always enjoyable to talk to!"
