"We have been staying at this hotel for years and return because of the staff, facilities, rooms and position near to the beach and surrounded by wildlife. The breakfast buffet is the best I have had for a long time - so much choice. The hotel offers a lot with pool, indoor and out - sauna / steam - spa if needed and gym. The rooms are very spacious and the beds so comfortable . It has everything there too in the room - iron/board - proper wine glasses and mugs for tea/ coffee. Coffee machine - . Thoughtful additions. Room service is quick and affordable . I also like their different promotions like - happy hours/ afternoon teas - picnics. We use to stay when our children were younger and the games room / activities for children and fabulous pools were a hit."

"Such a fantastic relief to NOT be in the casino areas. It’s beautifully separated and close to nature, there are trails just above the hotel on the nearby hills for hiking, there are fantastic local Portuguese restaurants like Fernando’s a short walk away. The outdoor pool is lovely and the grassy garden area relaxing. The indoor pool is great when it’s cooler. My family has been visiting here for over 20 years now and it’s still a great place to stay. Huge rooms and generous balconies."

"Super-friendly staff! Big rooms with nice beds and a big balcony with pretty sea view. Nice dinner with various options from pizza to Indian food. We were a little bit concerned about the transportation in to the city when we booked, but that was no problem. Good fitness club with a cozy indoor pool. WiFi worked perfectly."
"The facilities are a bit old. There are no services nearby, just the resort. The hotel staff helped our to their best effort when we needed things though. The barking of the stray dogs made the evening walk a tiny bit uncomfortable."
