Offering a private beach area, Ankazoberavina is an eco lodge situated on the private island of Ankazoberavina in the north west of Madagascar. The island is a 1 hour boat drive from Nosy Be. Accommodation is offered in wooden and traditional beach bungalow furnished with local furniture. There is also a tree house for the more adventurous. You will find a shared lounge and a restaurant overlooking the sea. Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including diving , snorkelling and whale watching .

"This island is spectacular if you really do want to get away from it all. Its very basic accommodation and food, but warm, inviting waters with amazing coral and snorkeling at every turn. We loved it."

"The food is really not special so dont expect much and you wont be disappointed. Also, take your own fins and goggles etc as you will be charged for what you use there"

"die Insel erscheint als ein in sich geschlossenes, intaktes System. Max, unser Gastgeber, beantwortete geduldig all unsere Fragen (und das waren recht viele), ging sogar mit uns auf die Suche nach dem dort lebenden nocturnal dorsalis, einer Lemurenart. Die Küche war ebenso bemerkenswert, sogar vegetarisch und vegan wurde zubereitet. Wunderschöne Schnorchel-, und Tauchmöglichkeit direkt rund um die Insel."

"Very friendly and helpful staff who organised everything we needed. The car collection is amazing as are the amazing old items scattered throughout the hotel. The room was very comfortable and the bed was too. The chef playing the piano at breakfast was lovely and Jackie Chan doing his best English was endearing."

"All was good. The owner of the hotel is amazing. We had a problem with minibus tickets reservation when planning our trip to Madagascar. The advance reservation required Malagasy mobile number to make a payment. I have asked her for help and everything went smoothly and sucessful. Definitely this type of help is not part of the standard hospitality. The hotel staff is also very helpful and polite"
