"Labai norėjome šios vietos viskas pasiteisino su kaupu. Vieta tiesiog išskirtinė! Turėjom 2 nakvynes, paėmėm pilną maitinimą( 2 pusryčiai ir 2 vakarienės) ir jautėmės kaip kurorte. Labai patiko karštos vonios kieme. Puikūs žygiai."

"excellent breakfast, efficient staff, nice location to visit Gent and other places. Good selection of restaurants nearby whereby the owner assisted in providing the available options. Linnen was good including the towels."

The showerhead is located halfway through the shower cubicle which meant that a lot of water came inside the bathroom while taken a shower. The ventilator didn't operate in the bathroom which meant that a small window was left open in the bathroom for ventilation. The drawback was ingress of mosquitoes into the room/bathroom. The lighting in the room could be enhanced, often we felt that the room was too dark.

"Very comfortable room, although close to main road no significant road noise. Lovely setting at edge of town with immediate access for cycle or walking in fields behind. Staff very helpful and food good value for hotel facilities. Ample breakfast included too. They offer excursions but we did not try due to lack of time. Hotel arranged transfer to airport which was perfect."

"This lodge is exceptional. It is well maintained and immaculate as far as the grounds are concerned. There is a nearby waterhole frequented by a range of different animals. The seating area to watch the animals at the watering hole couldn't have been better placed. We didn't have much time in this lodge to fully appreciate all that it had to offer. There was a lively pool and extra treats like foot spas. Unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity to try these out."

The food was exceptional. Unfortunately vegetarians are not given a very imaginative alternative to either meat or fish. I loved the freshness of the ingredients but a more creative option for a non-meat/fish eater would have definitely improved this experience.

"A little gem of a hotel in a most beautiful location. The staff give an extremely warm reception, they are super friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the area and what can be done…..if they didn’t know, they knew someone who does. For example, they arranged a night watching the turtles and a guide to walk some local waterfalls. The food was out of this world, fresh and local produce cooked by chefs who’ve been cooking their whole life."

"Esame labai patenkinti. Užburiantis vaizdas iš terasos, malonu gėrėtis vandenynu iš aukštai. Komplimentai šeimininkams - patarė visais mums rūpimais klausimais. Namai tvarkomi kasdien, yra skalbimo mašina ir skalbinių džiovyklė, pilnai įrengta virtuvė, lauko kepsninė, parkingo vieta. Dėkingi šeimininkams už suteiktą galimybę palikti daiktus ir pasinaudoti dušu paskutinį vakarą prieš išskrendant namo. Debbie ir Huberto dėka jautėmės kaip laukiami svečiai."

Only gripe might be that the air was quite dry, making sleep quality not so good: might be because of it being a wooden bldg

"Nina is a charming and caring host who gave us great tips on things to do and places to eat. The property is wonderful, the rooms spacious, comfortable and cozy and the breakfast was delicious!! We should have stayed longer!!!"

"Located exactly on the mountain, with exceptional views. Facilities were clean, comfortable and well heated. Staff were very helpful to transfer us to the hotel when we arrived, as the car park was a bit far from the hotel. They also treated us exceptionally well, and were always ready to accommodate us with our needs. Food and drinks were also really good. All in all 10/10 stay"

"Gilles & Henriette were superb hosts and made us feel at home. The setting is so tranquil and like a home from home. Breakfast was an unexpected highlight - especially the delicious homemade jams and coconut bread, plus the fruit from the garden. Don't miss sunset drinks and dinner at the Opoa Beach Hotel down the road - plus there's tasty pizza on offer next door too."

Nothing - it was all great. However, be prepared for a steep drive down to the property. We were glad we arrived in daylight. 🙂

"Labai gera vieta, nepaprastai gražiame Kakopertia kaime, pačiame senamiestyje, sename autentiškame name. Visi reikalingi patogumai yra. Nieko netrūko. Nuostabūs pusryčiai, maistas naminis, skanus, įvairus. Būtina paragauti carob sirupo."

Kambaryje tamsoka, bet taip turbūt daugiau autentikos. Tai padeda pajausti kaip gyveno žmonės anksčiau.
