"I loved that it was nestled in its own private space. There are 4 lodges in the vicinity and all have their own balcony’s that you can enjoy individually. Our water pressure was great. Also the unit was nice and clean."

Nothing: We actually didn’t book the transfers cause we had another vehicle organised however that fell through. But mama let us go first to the lodge and she’d wait at the airport. Lucky she got a ride back home from the family at airport. She has an immense amount of responsibility and knowledge of the island. As a local to Rarotonga people like her are very rare to be around. 1. There was no Iron in the room (it is written in the room facilities) 2. Noisy neighbours (they celebrated birthday and used equipment for loud music and jumped in the pool)

"Located exactly on the mountain, with exceptional views. Facilities were clean, comfortable and well heated. Staff were very helpful to transfer us to the hotel when we arrived, as the car park was a bit far from the hotel. They also treated us exceptionally well, and were always ready to accommodate us with our needs. Food and drinks were also really good. All in all 10/10 stay"

All of the staff were amazing at helping us organise everything and the food was delicious - special shout out to Brigitte for making our stay extra special, even letting us come into the kitchen so we could learn how to make African tea - we miss you Brigitte!!!"

Modi Lodge is quite hidden and set in a remote area. It offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, which can be great if you’re looking to unwind, but it also means that getting around is difficult without your own transportation. Public transport and taxis are limited in that part of Curaçao, so without a car you won’t be able to easily reach beaches, restaurants, shops, or other attractions on the island.
