"Great location for gibbon experience and slow boat, bed was big and comfy, AC and wifi were good and it was clean. Hot water in the shower was great after the gibbon experience. Good value for money, highly recommend!"

"A very pleasant room with a private bathroom, perfect for resting before the slow boat journey.😁 The view of the Buddhist temple and the opportunity to observe the morning alms-giving were truly wonderful. The hostel is about a 15-minute walk from the port."

"Great place to stay for a night before going to Gibbon experience (2 min walk). The guesthouse is directly under the temple so in the morning we were lucky to observe the traditional alm giving from our window without "markering campaign" as in Luang Prabang."

"Great little place just for one night from the slow boat, got a tuk tuk from the pier. Smooth check in and nice room clean and comfortable. Good WiFi and air con. Good location for a small town. Helpful staff. We ended up booking an extra day as we wanted to extend the room to get a late check out to wait for the bus to Thailand. The company Longchan travel that we booked through the hotel was excellent, door to door service minivan to Chiangmai very good price. The driver Pice was excellent and very speedy, but safe! Also good exchange from Kip to baht."
