Overlooking Höfn Harbour and Vatnajökull Glacier, this hostel features a guest kitchen, BBQ area and laundry facilities. Staff can help arrange glacier tours, as well as boat and snowmobile trips. "Clean and informative. All we needed to know was displayed such as passwords, registration information and check-outs. Kitchen was well equipped and facilitated. Huge benefit is parking space. The only people we met were the housekeepers. They were very helpful, and tolerated our sluggishness. I hope people tip them a lot."

"Im gutted i didnt get a photo with the lovely lady at reception she went above and beyond to get me a room when i had booked the wrong MONTH! and she managed to get me a room that night within the hour after being fully booked! and then personally showed me around and was made to feel right at home instantly. Honestly she was a super hero to me that day! Great facilities, modern look of the place, it really is going to be the best place in the area by a mile."

"This location is just unbelievably good :) Super clean, warm, comfy beds, great bathrooms, and the most insanely great kitchen i've seen - you could cook everything, pro level. Great coffee & hot chocolate available! The staff were super helpful and kind. It was amazing to mingle with travellers from all over the world. And the location is perfect as a stop to explore Vestrahorn or to continue down the ring road."

"The structural formation of the hostel is beautiful. It has a bonfire area which I couldn't use due to rains but definitely looked beautiful!"
