"Location is amazing, quirkiness of the house is brilliant."

"Unfortunately , and I say this with a heavy heart. In the pictures and description it looks amazing, but , This building as well as all the others on this small estate are extremely tired , thatch roof is in desperate need of being redone, how they aren't leaking is a wonder in it's self. All the windows are in need of a massive refit ,sash ropes broken stopping the windows working correctly, paint that hasn't been done for well over 20 years if not longer and is peeling off , glass is broken in the windows too. Inside , although the kitchen and bathrooms have had lots of money spent being modernised and we're all clean , everything else was very very tired , this property, no6 , is crying out to be finished properly and to a much higher standard than it currently is . Also it would have been nice for a welcome pack of some sort , there was nothing about the property or the area for us to read, simple things like how to get the hot water working would have been nice , where the bins go , where the nearest shops are , local pubs and restaurants...ect...ect . My biggest problem though was the inability to be able to use the outside area that faced the lake. This truly is a waste as there wasn't really anyway we could sit outside and enjoy the beautiful location unless we man handled two very heavy benches from the lounge. Another problem was lack of ability to use the TV with WiFi so we could watch netflix or Disney. The TV , like the house was very old and not really very good, the picture kept flickering and sound jumping in and out , so we gave up on that idea , but families with children might not be as forgiving. I found the beds very soft and tired and could also do with an upgrade. Had this property even looked like the photos or been decorated better I probably would have tried to rebook, unfortunately I feel most people , if not everyone who stays , will feel disappointed. Such a shame really."

Pour de futurs touristes : à la sortie du village de COROFIN (vers Killinaboy), prendre à gauche au carrefour où se trouve sur un rocher une grande statue de la Vierge. Continuer pendant environ 2km et juste avant un petit pont aux murets de pierres, prendre immédiatement à droite, à angle droit, une petite route étroite forestière qui monte dans la colline vers ce hameau pendant environ 1km."

"Die Anreise war schwierig. SMS an den angegebenen Kontakt mit Ankunftszeit geschickt, aber nie eine Bestätigung erhalten. Google Maps erkennt die Adresse nicht. Als wir dann angerufen haben, ging erst niemand ans Telefon. Dann wurde uns eine Wegbeschreibung per SMS versprochen, die wir nie bekommen haben. Wir haben es schließlich doch gefunden, aber eher zufällig. Der Schlüssel steckte, wie versprochen, aber ließ sich nicht drehen. Auch dieses Problem wurde schließlich gelöst - unkonventionell - und wir kamen rein. Die Anleitung, wie man das warme Wasser anstellt, war unverständlich, nicht nur wegen der verkorksten Syntax. Nach einem Tag kalt duschen und erneuter intensiver Suche, fand sich dann „the blue switch“ in einem Schrank im Dachgeschoss."
