While the accommodation was clean and comfortable, it is in dire need of an update.

I was not provided with a tea kettle or a hair dryer, as listed in the room description. Also, you can hear people walking to their rooms and staff talking while cleaning.

Lot of stairs to bring down the luggage and carry it back. The train track adjoining the hotel is very annoying and extremely noisy when the train passes through.

Жили на третьем этаже, лестницы очень крутые, взрослым людям будет тяжело подниматься. Завтрак был включен, ожидание было, конечно, другое, но увы, сервис оставляет желать лучшего. Утром пошли на завтрак, девушка, встретившая нас с ходу сказала, что кроме яичницы ничего нет. В итоге принесли яичницу с колбасой, на вопрос из какого мяса, ответила грубо, что не знает. На 4 человека дали один чайник чая, попросили дополнительно еще чайник, но это уже было платным. В номере не помешало бы поставить большое зеркало и светильники. Думаю, такие мелочи дали бы уют в номерах.

"Wangdue Eco Lodge is a lovely place tucked high above the Dzong, with amazing views from the room that really make the stay special. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout. Dinner and breakfast were simple but perfectly adequate. The rooms are very spacious, though they could benefit from a few extra touches to make them feel cosier, as they felt a little empty. Very isolated, surrounded by an abandoned resort. Menu very limited and expensive although the chef was very obliging and did cook of menu dishes for those who asked. Our room wasn’t cleaned twice and we had to remind someone to do it, we had to move rooms as the toilet facilities broke on our first room but this was handled quickly. For the cost of the room I would have expected a little more e.g. bottled water free in the room, tissues to be available in the room, better quality toilet paper.

"Het meest beviel ons de rust en hygiëne. We aten ontbijt en diner in het hotel. Vantevoren konden we aangeven hoe laat we het wilden hebben en wat we wilden eten. De kok luisterde goed naar onze wensen. Verder is het personeel zeer behulpzaam en helpt wanneer nodig."

Eigenlijk viel niets echt tegen. Omdat het een nieuwe lokatie is, merk je dat de medewerkers nog wat onwennig zijn en moet je pro-actief zijn. Zo hadden we handdoeken en een kopje voor 1 persoon op de kamer terwijl we met zijn tweeën waren. Als je erom vraagt zorgen ze snel dat het wordt opgelost. Als je TV wil kijken, houd er rekening mee dat je alleen YouTube video's kunt bekijken 😀 De lokatie is gelegen op een zeer stil punt in Zomba en heeft geen buitenterras, dat zou nog wel fijn zijn. En, zoals je wel vaker tegenkomt in Malawi, het weggetje ernaartoe is een zandpad met stenen en kuilen, dus houd daar rekening mee.

"Es un remanso de paz. Tienen que mejorar un poco la calidad de la comida y el servicio del restaurante. El desayuno puede ser más variado y más temprano. Pero en general todo estuvo muy bien"

El desayuno es muy tarde. Entiendo que debería ser más temprano. Ya que a las 9 es muy tarde y no hay nada cerca para desayunar.

(לצערנו היה סגור) הבקתה הייתה נקייה ויבשה, מיטה זוגית עם ג'קוזי בחדר, ספה נפתחת, אינטרנט, טלוויזיה, מיקרו, מזגן בכל חדר. כל הבקתות אותו דבר עם גלריה למעלה עם 2 מיטות. הבן אהב לשון שם. מגבות החליפו כל יום. בריכה מקורה ומחוממת וסאונה. שחינו כשבחוץ היה +3 מעלות מטבח כללי גדול עם אפשרות לעשות מנגל גם בפנים וגם בחוץ מול נוף המדהים, כמו כן יש גז, אפשר להכין אוכל. בעל הבית מאוד אדיב ונעים, ממש דאג לכל דבר מה שהיינו צריכים. אפשר לקבל ארוחות בוקר בתשלום. עזבנו את המקום עם חוויות טובות. נחזור."
