"We stayed in the private apartment a few blocks from La Comarca Hostel. It has everything you need - comfy double bed, an en suite with large shower, and a well equipped little kitchen with a stove, toaster, kettle. The whole vibe was very stylish, modern and clean. All the staff were lovely!! I said it was my partners birthday before arrival and they had put up balloons and little treats for us! Although we didn’t stay in the main hostel, it had a warm vibe when we dropped by and we were allowed to leave our bikes down the side of the hostel for a few nights while hiking. Overall, highly recommend!"

"Lovely staff, really informative and kind. The hostel Backpackers was clean, comfortable and nice inside and out. Absolutely brilliant location - close to bus stops, Cuba Street, good eateries and has all you could need in the Backpackers. A fully functional kitchen, a lounge where you can chill with your buddies, board games to play, a nice outdoor deck. I also like the fact they had a female only bathroom downstairs. The showers were excellent, too!"

The bedroom I stayed in didn't have a lock that worked on the door, which was a bit concerning. I don't love that.

"The hostel is in the heart of Antwerp, it’s walkable distance from anywhere. We got access to our room very early which was a nice surprise. Our beds were comfortable and the shared spaces were alright. I liked the decor. Our stay came with a free breakfast, which was absolutely lovely. As fas as hostels go, this was a very pleasant experience."

My only gripe was again the location. Being that the hostel is in the very center, there was a lot of noise outside until the early hours of the morning. Again, not the hostel’s fault, just something to keep in mind.

"This is a really great hostel. Perfectly located in the historic centre and yet close to restaurants and shops. A warm welcome and helpful staff throughout who all seem to enjoy their roles. They even provided a towel as well as fresh linen for the dormitory beds. Really nice design for the hostel - clean and bright."

"A very nice and atmospheric resort. Beautiful surroundings. Lots of parking spaces. There is a gazebo on site where you can barbecue and spend a nice evening. Additionally, a small playground for children. The rooms are very clean. Two toilets and 3 shower cabins per floor."

Sehr rustikal, viele Moskitos im Zimmer, die ziemlich genervt haben, kein Ventilator, aber zum Schlafen gab es aber ein Moskitonetznetz! leider hat es immer wieder geregnet und da das Badezimmer draussen war, musste ich durch den Regen, am WC hat es auch geregnet, Kakalaken in der Dusche und dem WC

"The staff were amazing! So friendly, and helpful. There was milk provided for the guests which was a bonus as I always bring tea bags with me, so saved me a walk to the shop. The location was brilliant and the hostel was very clean"

The only issue is that I’ve stayed in similar hostels, but the price was nowhere near as expensive. I know it’s in Zurich, but it’s still a hostel.

"My go to stay in Bangkok. Amazing value for money stay in a great area. Staff are lovely and very accomodating."

If you want a beach holiday it's a little far but if you enjoy the cultural aspects it's a perfect spot. Just a little uphill.

"This is a very nice hostel with extremely nice staff members and very comfortable beds. I was quite fortunate that I had an entire room to myself due to my visit being in January (the quiet season). The common is also very nice and the beach is very close by. Overall, this hostel is excellent value for money!"

While it is great that this hostel is right next to the beach, it is a little bit of a walk from the main train station (around 20 minutes). It also gets a little confusing when it comes to how to get to the hostel when crossing the bridge. These are only minor things but worth mentioning, especially if you are walking from the main train station.

"This place is simply fabulous - clean, quiet, cozy, everything works, in a great location near night market, mall, fast food etc, easily reachable by bus, yet, some rooms face forest. It's self check-in, all information is provided timely and clearly, communication is brilliant and any questions promptly answered. One of the best place to stay ever."

There is nothing not to like. But, as you need a code to enter your room, its probably not a good idea to rush to the toilet in the middle of the night, and forgetting phone with the code in the room 😊 (didn't happen, but could 🤣). Love it here...
