"A short stroll from the main drag and market, but without the noise.A fully equipped kitchen, a shady garden, plenty of toilets and showers hot aswell, in the dormitory section,all kept clean throughout day, for breakfast i recommend you go to Kumba Lodge, turn left and walk along the beach for 15 minutes, youll see it up on the ridge, dont forget to take sandals as the sand maybe too hot to walk on coming back.Nice secluded back garden.You can walk to Barra, by turning left, walk atound the headland, places yo eat and drink there, anout 8kms one way, take plenty of water."

Location is great as it's located in the community area and not in the national park yet it's close to everything you will want to visit during your stay. I also love that they're so organised with tours they provided good information and hade competitive rates if not the best rates in the area. The service was on point from the moment I arrived until checkout. The food so delicious! I stayed in a cottage with a balcony, the view was super, I highly recommend those rooms. "everything was super clean, the facilities were great, and there were plenty of sinks and bathrooms so you never had to wait for ages to get ready. the fact there is a sauna was an amazing bonus. beds super comfy with super fresh new white sheets - felt like I should've been paying way more. Location is great - most places in the city walkable within 30mins, and a five minute walk away from central station so really easy to use public transport"

If you want a beach holiday it's a little far but if you enjoy the cultural aspects it's a perfect spot. Just a little uphill.

"Excellent situation in downtown, better than staying in french border for the same price as it is much central here. Nice terasse, nice clean and spacious rooms."

"The hostel was pretty clean. The staff at the reception were friendly, helpful, and patient. They have a lot of knowledge about tourism in Bagan and were always happy to give advice or answer questions. It was also very convenient that they can help you book buses directly at the hostel, and that you can rent e-bikes. Another big plus is the atmosphere. The hostel is social, but not in an overwhelming way. It’s not loud or pushy. There are great opportunities to connect with other travelers if you want, but you can also just sit by the pool and enjoy some quiet time. I think this place is perfect both for people looking for peace and quiet and for those who want to meet others."

There wasn’t much to complain about. The only small improvement I can think of would be adding curtains to the beds, which would give a bit more privacy.

"Great place to stay in Noukchott. The place itself is beautiful, and in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance to anything you'd want to see. The bungalows are cosy and comfortable. Great hot showers and good buffet breakfast. Contrary to some other uncharitable reviews, I found the young guys working there to be helpful and pleasant. Sebastien the owner gives great travel advice. 10/10, would repeat!"

"MyFarm is not just a place to sleep. It is a vibrant place full of life. You wake up from the sound of beautiful birds in the morning, you can join the MyFarm team for breakfast and talk about their daily life here. All the staff is super nice and accommodating. It's amazing to be inside such a wonderful place that gives out free education to the people who live around here. I ended up helping out in the different educational programs and I loved every moment of it. I thought I just went for a cheap place to stay that was also social, but I got so much more. I will definitely come back as a volunteer to the project."
