"A quiet place to spend two or three days of relaxation. The staff is very kind and ready to help you with any problem. Breakfast and dinner well cooked, tasty but in a small quantity and not very diverse. The reef in front of the location is not very beautiful, but there are sharks and you can do diving and snorkel tours."

"Alfa is a very friendly host who will help you with all he can without any opportunistic motives. His place is clean and welcoming. Large and tasty breakfast included. The dinner they cooked for us was absolutely delicious, we loved the Peulh cheese! And all this at a very good price - great value for money. Very funny for us Belgians to be welcomed in Dutch :-)"

The surroundings of the house are not really beautiful, but we stayed here as an overnight stop between Cotonou and the Tanéka villages.

"We loved the location and the pool - the gardens were stunning and it has a really peaceful feel in a busy city. The staff were amazing and friendly - they were brilliant about our late check in and early check out and provided delicious food and cocktails. We were upgraded after our first night, free of charge, and both rooms were lovely!"

Der er ikke noget dårligt at sige om dette sted, det skulle da lige være at der er dårlig internet dækning.

"My room was wonderful, airy, comfortable, clean with touches of local culture. Kevin was an excellent host, always cheerful, smiling, helpful. The bathroom was clean and the shower was spacious. The verandas are perfect. It was a great opportunity to stay amidst the local indigenous culture."

"There was much to like about our stay - the room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a good shower. The location - a short drive from the main Belle Mare beach and not too far from the main regional hub of Flacq (with its twice weekly market and also Super-U for those who prefer more modern facilities) - was good and the walk from the accommodation to the dining area through an abundance of local floral was a delight. But biggest praise must go to owners Roshan and Sang (and their son Kite) who were so warm and welcoming - they made each guest feel like a VIP, nothing was too much trouble for them and the food (breakfast and dinner) freshly prepared by Sang each day was varied but always delicious. We had a wonderful stay with no complaints whatsoever. Well, actually, just one - we never did get to see Roshan feeding the Dodo."

"This was our second stay, but in the bigger villa. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Having everything we needed right there was super convenient. Definitely made the whole trip smoother and more enjoyable. Can't wait to come back again sometime."

Leider ist die Unterkunft nicht komplett zentral und die Bettwäsche hat etwas komisch gerochen. Ansonsten war aber alles super!

"If you are more a visitor then a tourist, if you like exploring and going further when comfortable tourism ends, this place is for you. The authenticity, genuine friendliness and welcoming hearts of the people of the community made this stay incredibly unique and one of the best experiences of my life. When staying here one can get closer to locals, animals, cultural sights, traditions, local way of life, nature and the PNG culture in general then in any other accommodation. The PNGFE made my stay very comfortable and made me experience local life and the raw nature of PNG!!"

"Very good location, close to the city beach , 5 min on foot. There is a pool on property which is very practical when it is hot during the day and you do not feel like walking to the beach. An outdoor kitchen is available, there is a gas stove, BBQ place etc, very useful for people wanting to cook. The apartment is clean, spacious and right for our group. The hosts are extremely nice people, ready to help when needed. I would definitely recommend this place to travellers! Thank you Safar guest house!"

"Mama MIREKA highly recommend. She is such a beautiful host. House is immaculate yards are very tidy. Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. I wish you nothing but the best. I hope anyone that books your house respects and appreciates you and your beautiful whare/ house that you work hard to maintain. "This is my favourite place to stay in Asuncion. I have stayed here 4 times now and the hosts have become my friends. They have looked after me well when I was alone in a strange new land. The new renovations are wonderful too and the breakfast menu is delicious. The proximity to Shopping Mall Multiplaza is always a massive convenience too-literally across the road."

There's nothing I don't like about this place. I always have a wonderful time when I stay here.
