"We had a really wonderful time at Hotel Dionisio Inn! It's close to everything you may want to visit in Antigua and the staff was really wonderful, kind, and attentive. Even if the language barrier, they always remembered what we were up to and asked how things were. Whenever we had a question, they were always ready to help out. It's not often that we've met such helpful and nice staff members. The room was clean, comfortable, and so much better than a lot of other places we stayed at on our trip in Guatemala. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book it again if we ever go back to Antigua."

"The location just off the highway was perfect for me and I was able to book it on the travel day. There was a comfortable family vibe and the staff was extremely friendly. They made me perfect fried eggs for breakfast, served in a beautifully decorated room that had a large selection of bread, jams, cheeses, meat cuts, yoghurt, cereals, fresh juice, different kinds of coffee and tea."

The main entrance was closed at arrival, so I had to find the barn door to get in. There are parking spaces in front of the property, but if you arrive during dinner service, these might be taken by restaurant guests.

"It is really decent. Not the best, but very sufficient for me. For 50$, I definitely got more than I expected. Free internet and electricity and kitchen and washing machine."

Not too clean (still very acceptable and I would return). Single bed (would loved to have 2 separate beds). Air conditioner is fairly weak.

Location is bit far away from the city if you have a car then no problem , there is free parking and the great thing is you would have lovely city view. "This is a family recreational resort with some dorms. Mine was inside the main building near the inside pool and table tennis area. The showers and two toilets are those used by the pool guests. I was fortunate to have only one female dorm mate. There are lockers outside in the hallway and you are given a room key. The manager kindly lent me sheets. I liked the location in the woods not far from the pedestrian street."

The kitchen could use some new utensils. There were no cups or glasses, just some plastic cups.

"Kruopščiai apgalvotos visos smulkmenos, labai patogiai įrengti apartamentai. Yra viskas ko reikia, trumpai viešnagei, gal net daugiau. Tobula lokacija. Malonu, kad, jei yra galimybė, leidžiai įeiti į apartamentus anksčiau, nei numatyta taisyklėse. Puiku, kad galima palikti bagažą išsiregistravus. Labai apsidžiaugėme, kad antklodės įvilktos į normalius užvalkalus, o ne paklodė plius atskirai antklodė."

Būtų išvis puiku, jei prie lovos būtų mažas apšvietimas. Dabar, jei vienas miega, o kitas nori skaityti, nelabai yra kaip. Juolab nejauku vient tik ta viršutinė šviesa.

Access was an initial challenge as this was not automated so you cannot let yourself in and had to wait until someone respond to the telephone! A ringing doorbell at the gate or at the front door would be helpful!

"Warm welcome from the staff, very comfortable room and home-like feeling. Designated room for smoking so we did not have to feel the smell at all. Kids loved the chess available to play."

"Very good location, rooftop pool, our room had a rooftop terrace and 2 other balconys. Our apartment was very big (2 bedrooms). It exceeded our expectations. For short stay very good."

Could be cleaner. Water does not go down very well in shower. Safe was locked could not use but its a small thing because we only stayes 2 nights. The pub downstairs can be quite loud but it didnt bother us too much. Church bells 😁 towels were very hard not soft and there was no hand towel.

"absolutely top ', nice and kind is the owner. We were absolutely excited by breakfast - everything was fresh and homemade and we got the stories about all products which were used. We loved it and we will come with pleasure again. We can only recommended. and like a bonus, we can stay with our small dog, what was the first time in the existence of this hotel. Thank you again. "The location is amazing. Grocery store very close by. It's cozy. Large room and clean, comfortable beds. Rachelle was amazing. Went beyond by providing some did you know?... sound of falls in pool was soothing. Kitchen facilities clean and complete with all needs. Yes I would come back in a heart beat."

Pool abit dirty and not clean completely. I would add ice machine or an available freezer for our ice. Lack of close by restaurants is a bummer.

"This was a touch of Bali in New Caledonia. Beautifully set up, very relaxing, and taken care of by the charming Barbara and Michel. We spent 3 days there altogether, and loved the environment - making good use of their pool ! Would highly recommend this property."

The possible downside ( although some might see it as a positive), was that there was no TV - Although we found many places in New Caledonia, when they had TV had no English channels anyway. There was very functional wifi there, so we could use youtube etc... Also, it is rather out of the way there. But once again this could be viewed as a positive. I loved the walks there - in particular down to the marina.
