"Xiropigado is small quiet village. Ancient places, Epidaurus, Mycenae, Mystras etc. as well as nice town Nafplio are not so far from this place (in a circle about 40 - 50 km, Nafplio 10 km). Hotel Sunset is nice, quiet hotel. The best thing about Xiropigado and hotel Sunset is that there is no crowd. Hotel and restaurant are 10 meters from the sea."

"I returned here after 11 years. Because then I liked it very much. Almost everything was the same, only the hotel would require some renovations. If you want to really feel Greece and especially the Greeks, this is the right place and hotel. I hope I can come back here someday."

"The breakfast was Buffet style and sufficient with some home made treats. The owner was so nice and helpful and she went out of her way to help us. We had a brand newly finished double room with a sea view and it was lovely. It was tastefully decorated. The food is good here. There was plenty of free parking and the sea is outside the hotel main entrance a few metres away. The Hotel provides free sunbeds and umbrellas and beach towels. The bed was comfortable. There are a few good restaurants by the sea within a 2 mins. walk but there is an amazing Souvlaki/Gyro Taverna on the main road very close to the Hotel, which was absolutely fantastic! The Owner was really nice. There is also a really good Cafe with a lovely owner, where you can get good Hot and Cold Drinks, Ice Cream, Snacks, Cake, etcetera. Both on the main road very very close to the Hotel."
