"The Throckmorton is a lovely clean, comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We've stayed here a few times when visiting friends in the area and will always be our 'go to'. The staff are so friendly, the rooms are well presented and have good amenities, there's a good choice for breakfast and it's good value. What more do you need?! Thank you for another enjoyable stay."

"Very central! Nice friendly staff! Clean, food good"
"I wish there was a lounge to relax in with a fire! Central heating was difficult to control for us, the first room was too hot and the staff couldn't turn it down, so they moved us to a family room. Large but nice. Otherwise all good"
