On the picturesque harbour of St Mawes, with views of the Roseland Peninsula and beyond, The Rising Sun has an outdoor seating area, restaurant, bar and free Wi-Fi. "Small shower room for a family suite was a bit of a struggle at times! Would rather have a mug in room for a tea rather than small teacup but that’s a small thing! A discount on carpark would be great too although it’s v reasonable."

"Very awkward car parking.Some free spaces in the road adjacent at this time of year but subject to restriction after 1st April. Alternative is expensive public car park with 24 hour charges. Very dark and possibly not secure in high season."
