"We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The location is stunning, right by the water with spectacular views. The team are exceptional in every way, and the food is outstanding. We’ve stayed here before and had an amazing experience, so we were delighted to find it just as wonderful this time. "The room was beautifully furnished with lovely views and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom fittings appeared new with plenty of hot water for a bath. The bar was cozy and welcoming with a lively Friday night atmosphere, including locals."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! The property is gorgeous, beautifully decorated and with amazing sea views. Our room was big and very comfortable with a modern bathroom. They provided a cot for our baby, plus a very lovely welcome bag of treats, bowls and bed for our dog. The staff were wonderful, and we loved going to the pub out the back of the hotel for drinks and dinner. Food was really good, both the pub dinners and the hotel breakfasts."

"Only one small negative mark was that the loo in our bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. Very likely just an oversight as the rest of the room was very clean, but it wasn’t the best welcome."

"I loved revisiting a past trip. Just as good as the previous visit, eight years ago. The room was beautiful looking over the loch, timber lined and generous in size. I ate at the bar each night and had the three best meals I have had in many a day, certainly the whole of my five week trip. Hats off to the chef! My dietaries were accommodated without fuss and every meal was truly a delight. I’m a real foodie and cannot believe the quality. The staff were great all round from the bar staff to the breakfast team. A shout out too, to the New Zealander behind the bar. Really knew her stuff and was very attentive. Highly recommended!"

"A very small niggle - I would have loved to sit in the sitting room by the fire but it was not stoked and barely alight both times I went in, and staff kept opening the door to the hallway which just meant all the heat disappeared. It didn’t feel welcoming in the evening when it would have been lovely to linger after dinner. And I would have loved a repeat of fireworks on the edge of the loch on 5 November, but appreciated the realities of insurance!"
