"The hosts were on hand and very welcoming and helpful. Kitchen was very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. There was a sunny place to sit outside as well as a sheltered area. Location was perfect. We thought it was good value."

"Castel de la Comtesse is a lovely building very close to the cathedral but hidden behind the building that faces the cathedral. Breakfasts were excellent and, because the building is so central, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Blois castle is a short walk away. Unmetered street parking is available about 1/3 mile (500m) away. We would happily stay there again."
