"Die Unterkunft war schön. Es gab am Morgen ein leckeres Frühstück mit Kaffee oder Tee (je nach Wahl) und der Gastgeber war ebenfalls sehr nett! Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig und ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto von Corte entfernt. Wir fanden die Lage aber trotzdem sehr schön, gerade weil es so ruhig und die Landschaft wunderschön war."

"This is the place to visit if you're visiting the Somme region. Fantastic WW1 knowledge and help is available especially to someone like me that wanted to visit the area bit only had a couple of days. There is hugely impressive selection of books and memorabilia to see. Jenny was extremely helpful in assisting me plan my day out. Dinner is available also if required, and l have to say l was very well looked after. On a side note, I was also able to lock up my motorcycle in the large shed which gives great piece of mind. Jenny is willing to chat and make you feel very comfortable. I had a large double room with en-suite all to myself. And the bed was excellent too!! I really enjoyed my stay at The Silent Picket, it's a home from home kind of establishment. Well done and thanks again"
