"The seaside location was amazing, watching the sea was so calming. The beds were so comfortable we slept in almost every day. The space was huge, and everyone had a place to themselves. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed from breakfast to dinner. It was a short drive to the local shops and the supermarket. We visited Cherbourg (a 50-minute drive) and the La Cité de la Mer which is a museum with an aquarium, a nuclear submarine and a Titanic exhibition. We also visited Sainte-Mer-Èglise (a 35-minute drive) and went to the Airborne Museum, which had one of the best displays of the D-Day landings. If you know the movie 'The Longest Day' from 1964, where the parachutist gets caught on the church, this is the town."

"It was a lovely room in a quiet area, the sitting room and facilities were all on the same floor and had a cosy atmosphere. I felt really welcome and they went out of their way to make sure I had a gluten free breakfast. I was even invited to join them for dinner and they refused any extra payment. "As already mentioned in the reviews Jean- Marc is an excellent cook and host. If you want to have real traditional french cuisine you have to take your dinner at his place. The atmosphere and hospitality is extraordinary. For the room booking family room is required, the normal double rooms are quite tiny. Otherwise perfect location with swimming pool."
