"The weather - but nothing they could do about that and honestly, cooler weather was better as we were doing lots of driving around! The house was beautiful, the room was quiet and comfortable and parking was literally outside the door - there is nothing they could have done to make our stay more warm & welcoming. We would happily stay again next time we're in the area."

"La penderie était hors service dans ma chambre. Et il vaut mieux être prévenu qu’on ne trouve rien mais vraiment rien à manger dans le coin le dimanche… pas un seul bistrot, pmu ou petit bar ouvert dans le village ou toute la petite ville voisine (Chalais) je me suis faite surprendre…Mieux vaut anticiper le pic mic du dimanche ou prévoir faire des km de route."

"It was immaculate. It is family friendly as we are a family of 4, the location was perfect; close to just about everything. And our girls loved the upper loft area. Everything was absolutely perfect. The hosts were a delight to deal with, they got back to us quickly and made our early check in work - so we could drop our bags off early on check in day."

"Excellent location with beautiful traditional look. Very comfortable, well equipped, clean and compact. Ground level, with small terrace and bistro table with 2 chairs. Secure and ideal for 2 people. Francois and Catherine clearly take great care of their apartment and are very responsive and helpful if you need to contact them. It is only a 2 minute walk to a small supermarket and approx 10 minutes to the train station. Free parking is worth mentioning at Fort Carre ,approx a 15-20 minute walk from the apartment."
