"Our room was in the attic and the stairs was steep. A person with mobility issues (e.g. a bad knee) would find it difficult to manage. The bed was very low which was a problem for someone with a bad knee."

"We came for the 79th D-Day anniversary and our stay was perfect. Les Volets Bleus is situated at the perfect distance from all the D-Day beaches. While you will need a car, everything is about 1-1.5h drive. So for a history buff it is the place to be. The house is just picture perfect, it has a wonderful garden and ample parking spaces in front. It even has a small fountain with fish. Unfortunately we did not have time to spend in the garden as we visited all day. The room were clean and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was wonderful, just the perfect way to start the day. And so was the host, always eager to help us."

"Might be only details, but the pillows could be better. I know it is not much, but it helps with the quality of the sleep. Keep in mind if you are a light sleeper that the floors are really squeaky (specially during the night when everything is really quiet). It is an old house, it has its own personality :)"
