"On the third day of our long sea and road journey from Volos, Greece to Reading, England, we spent our evening/night at hotel "Au coucou" in Pulversheim, a mere 12 km from Mulhouse. The hotel provides for a back to memory lane atmosphere as well as a warm accommodation. It is very rare nowadays in this era of multinational hotel chains to be met, after a day-long 800 km drive, at the hotel doorstep by its owner, the cheerful Madame Cierocki. The clean bedroom and its large en-suite bathroom provided for a super quite night. The "L'envie" restaurant managed by an experienced chef in the person of the hotel owner's son allowed us to enjoy the very best of French cuisine. A delicious breakfast was arranged by Ms Cierocki at 7 am. We will definitely come back."
