"Ik ging een week naar de Wake Up Retreat van Plum Village in Verdelot. Het was doenbaar om dagelijks naar La Désirade te rijden. Ik vond het spannend om er alleen naartoe te gaan, maar ik voelde mij er veilig. De gastheer was vriendelijk en flexibel. Ik had hem op voorhand verwittigd dat ik laat zou arriveren en hij was heel begripvol. Het huis was netjes, ik had alles wat ik nodig had en de omgeving is rustig. Ik kon er ook mijn auto parkeren."
