"Thi sis a wierd one... You wouldn't walk in without a reservation but there's nothing wrong (other than the stairs, see below). Staff is great, it has an excellent location, it's very well priced and the rooms are all you need to sleep and shower. It's bare minimum but I want to be out on the street, not hunkered down in the room. Room\bathroom were very clean and kept clean throughout the stay."

"Stairs are very narrow (expected given the building itself is a classic building) and can be troublesome with larger luggage. We one bag so not a worry but I understand why it can get problematic for some. The mattress was a bit on the soft side but it was sitll comfortable, especially after walking all over the city and having an extra glass of wine. We went in March but I think the rooms would be quite warm during peak summer."

"Kindness of staff, cleaning, position. Perfect for our short trip in Paris, connected to a near metro station, already in the center of the city. The nearest street is full of locals and shops that makes the experience wonderful."

"The location is great, the hotel is clean and in the center. There are a lot of places around where you can enjoy everything from breakfast to dinner. The receptionist at the hotel is very friendly, lots of recommendations for choosing this hotel. We will definitely come back. There is also a kettle in the room, the room was large. A big advantage is that you can check out of the hotel until 12 noon and then store your luggage until your departure (if you have a flight in the late afternoon). 10 out of 10!"

"Maybe just to point out, there are steep stairs to reach the room (2,3 floor), it was not a problem at all for us, but maybe for elderly people/people with small kids or pregnant woman could be a little difficult, but it is manageable for sure, so not an big issue I will say, but just to be aware maybe."

"Very friendly and helpful staff, especially by taking our heavy suitcases up, then down the steep stairs. Very helpful information given to us by Chris regarding the Christmas markets in Strasbourg. We followed this advice and were glad we did."

"Excellent location; close to so many restaurants and cafes, and yet a quiet street. Walking distance to Louvre, Opera etc. It is a small hotel. Very welcoming staff, clean rooms. The room was big enough with a comfy double bed, bigger than average size bathroom with walk in shower and french windows; facing the street. The building has no lift, rooms are over five floors."

"Words can’t explain how much we liked this apartment, we stayed for the total of 4 nights and everyday the staff cleaned our room and threw out the trash, receptionist was polite and very welcoming. Location was perfect, everything in a maximum of 5 minute walk. I can’t explain the cozyiness and warmth when you are in the room so you must visit to see for yourself. Even the owner who was there when we left gave us clear instructions where we need to go to the airport and was very kind. If I could give any higher review score i definitely would."
