Featuring a grand piano, HOTEL C2, located in the Pierre Puget courtyard in Marseille, is a 19th-century private mansion converted into a hotel. It features the original marble and parquet floors, columns, bas-relief sculptures, frescoes and bronze banisters, whilst offering a minimalist, contemporary twist. It opened in April 2014. The light and airy guest rooms are spacious with designer furnishings and have a private bathroom. A bar and meeting room. The hotel's specially-chartered boat leaves from the Vieux Port, and is available with the beach package. Each month the hotel also hosts art and photographic exhibitions and performances.

"Our stay at Le Mûrier was absolutely wonderful. Stacey and Matt were the consummate hosts. The house, garden and pool area were postcard perfect. We felt like we were staying in an edition of Architectural Digest… but in a totally relaxed and carefree way. The surrounding area provided everything we wanted for a relaxed and enjoyable Provençal experience. Stacey’s breakfasts were amazing. We felt like royalty being served tasty breakfasts with locally sourced produce on cute serving-ware in the beautiful dining room. The continental breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice including fresh local fruit, bread, cheeses & meats with lovely pastries & endless coffee too. The bar is great for relaxing drinks & has lovely views of the ponds. The private, secure parking is much appreciated. We’d love to visit again if we are in the Etaples/Montreuil/ Le Touquet area."
