"The apartment is next to a restaurant - after arrival you can pick up the keys at the bar - which is helpful if you need a quick lunck or dinner - we used this opportunity and were happy with the value for money. The apartment is also very close to the Omaha Beach, only 2 minutes drive to that phantastic sandy beach. Also well located if you want to explore all the D-Day memories."

"It has two bathrooms which is great, but only one toilet on the ground floor (the bedrooms are on the first floor)."

"Location right next to a busy road during daytime, but we didn’t have problems sleeping at night because it quieted down. Bigger bath towels would’ve been nice, but we were forewarned by previous reviews and came prepared with our own."

"The proximity to Omaha beach was great. The gite was compact but clean and nicely decorated. It was great to have the washing machine & drier as we are a family of 6. The kitchen facilities were good for eating in and there was also the convenience of the restaurant onsite for eating out (La Cremaillere, the owner of which also owns the Gites... A discount on the restaurant would have been nice 😁)"

"Its a pity that the wash basin is not located in the WC, it is in the next room (the shower/laundry room). The stairs are a bit dangerous for young kids (and older adults) but managable with care. There is no WC upstairs so you do have to navigate the stairs during the night should you need to use the WC."
