Collège Hôtel

"The location was excellent - on the edge of the old town, which made visiting numerous sights and historical places easy. The breakfast was superb. Having such a good gluten free bread was an unexpected bonus. Please congratulate the baker on their expertise. It's not easy to make a robust and tasty gluten free loaf."

"Overall I enjoyed my stay, but one comment regarding the public spaces around the entrance and when going to the rooms. The floors and walls all needed a robust deep clean. When entering the lobby, there is a smell of old dust and dirt, which is offputting. I suspect from the floors as they look to need restoring."

"Excellent location and good breakfast. No complaints"

"Great hotel, great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Loved the quirky, old school (literally) style. The view from the window was also amazing!"

"The shower over bath was awkward- but easily fixed by having baths instead!"

"Lovely hotel in a great location in old town, Lyon. The decor and furnishings are unusual, but our room was very comfortable."

"Everything was good"

"lovely breakfast and helpful staff but I have stayed before and forgotten how small the rooms are!"

"Rooms are a bit small even for Europe. Minimal facilities in the room but its a and interesting place and staff are helpful."

"Perfect location The colorful lights in the window is lovely. The breakfast is good quality."

"There is coffee in the room but no milk or milk powder. The door and the "bedside table" design is not my taste. There is no bar tender even in the designated timeframe at the roofbar."

"Loved the large window (studio with balcony),lots of natural light, and availability of lovely cold still or sparkling water downstairs"

"Small ( 15 sq m) but we knew this on booking"

"Location of the hotel is perfect, at the old city neighbourhood. Breakfast is amazing, it has everything someone may ask for. The room is nice, and hotel staff in the reception are very helpful. Highly recommended"

"This was a fantastic hotel. The location, on the edge of the Old Town,w as ideal. It was not too far from the underground so we arrived from the airport. The room was huge and the bed was really comfortable. There was a decent selection at breakfast. The staff were very friendly and cheerful"

"This was our second visit to College Hôtel. It is ideally situated, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We had major train problems and had to cancel and rebook but this was no problem. Looking forward to our next visit"

"Our room was on the top floor with a corner bath and over bathtub shower. Difficult to get in and out of this shaped bath with creaky ancient knees."
