Marie even did my washing, returning it clean, dry & folded. Everything she does, including a scrummy, fresh breakfast each day is over & above, making it a special place to stay. The village is also beautiful, very French(!) with immaculate streets & gardens, it's like stepping back in time; all very gentle & quietly paced. We had supper at L'Escampette which was quite magical; candlelight, French music playing & authentic, delicious food."

"La propreté des lieux et le calme. Pas de commerce dans le village mais il suffit de 10 mn en voiture pour trouver tout ce qu'il faut à Villers Bocage. La mer est à 20 mn, à Asnelle ou à Arromanche à travers les très beau paysages du bocage normand."
