Situated in Gharb Sahel, a Nubian village on the west bank of the Nile, Eka- Guesthouse sits opposite to the city of Aswan and overlooks The First Cataracts. It boasts air-conditioned accommodation. All accommodation at Eka- Guesthouse features a warm décor with tiled floors. Each room comes with a balcony overlooking the river, a seating area, a wardrobe and a private bathroom. You can dine at the restaurant where a breakfast buffet is served and a 24-hour room service is available. For a fee, you can enjoy a barbecue in the garden or request a massage treatment. The tour desk can arrange local excursions. The 24-hour front desk can provide laundry, dry cleaning and ironing services upon request. "Food was nice, the evening music and entertainment were enjoyable, and the reception staff were very good. Overall, it’s an excellent place. You have to travel a bit farther to the Nubian village, but it's worth it. Recommended for others."

"A very clean, good smelling place with some Nubian design. Very, very friendly and helpful staff. You might be terrified by the outdoor surroundings as it's in a quite poor village, but you will be satisfied with the interior and service. Good communication & quick response by the staff."

"I don’t usually write reviews, but my friends and I were so touched by our stay that I had to share. Despite arriving late at night, we were warmly welcomed by the staff with a welcome drink — such kindness! The room was spotless, the air conditioning worked perfectly, water pressure and hot water were great, and everything was in top condition. The staff were incredibly friendly, and though we had to check out early, they thoughtfully packed us breakfast to-go. It was the best stay we had in Egypt — great value and an unforgettable experience. I’d love to come back next time I visit."

"Large communal areas outside all bedrooms meant lots of noise from thoughtless guests. Breakfast was typical Egyptian (eggs, fuul, and not great for European taste. Terrible roads outside the venue and taxi drivers struggled to find it."
"Great location in a colourful Nubian village where the locals are full of smiles and laughter. Beautiful, quiet roof terrace with views over the nile. Mr Ahmed and his team catered for our every request. Special thanks to Rowan who took us on a free tour of the village, including crocodile House, school and bazaar. She also checked in with us daily to ask if we were OK and in need of anything. I can highly recommend Ekodolli guest house."
